I have an asus transformer and the problem i was having was that there was no universal case. This this solved that. I also really wanted a 360 turn for when i need my tablet vertical. When it is zipped shut, it's snug and secure. The only thing I'm not wild about is that the corner holders in the case are made of kind of flimsy rubber. It's holding up well for not, but i'm concerned of how well it will fair over use. That is the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars. I would give 4.5 if i could though. I also liked the fact in was cheaper compared to other cases i have seen for my tablet. excellent quality, good materials....other than the rubber corner holders, but it's functioning great not, so no complaints yet.
My lady came home with a couple of these and I didn't get to excited as we had failed previously getting something to fit our Craig 10" Android Tablets. But the silicone corner grabbers worked great and didn't bother the power button or any other access or ports. Nice Unit
I bought this case for the Asus tf700 tablet, it fits really well except that the corner strap on the corner with the volume button pushes down on the button, even though the straps are very adjustable, the volume button is quite long. I've overcome this problem by putting a mini eleastic band around the strap (behind the tablet, you can't see it) which pulls the strap away from the buttons. Other than this problem (and the boring colour) the case is exactly what I wanted, zips the whole way around so nothing sharp can slip inbetween the jacket and the screen and the multi-angle stand works really well (except in portrait mode you can only use the lower two angles, otherwise it falls over backwars, but if you want a sharper portrait angle you can flip the case insideout into an A-frame). It's pretty much a latitude jacket, so check out the reviews for the ipad latitude jacket if you want more reviews.
Works wonderfully with my Galaxy Tab 10.1. Durable and excellent quality.
I am totally satisfied with the product and the shipping
Quality product. Fast shipping ! !
I had previously bought M-Edge cases before for my Kindle and then for my Nook. The full zipper offers great protection. When I upgraded to the Nook HD+ I searched again for a comparable case. The zippered ones that the stores carried required me to remove the Nook HD+ before using it. Luckily I found this M-Edge case on line. It opens like a book and even doubles as a stand with adjustable angles. The only thing I wish it had were a small pocket like my previous cases. I still give it 5 stars because of the excellent quality and workmanship.
Although I like the case including that it zips shut, I have had this about 2 months and the corner rubber strap broke. This would be an awesome case for ipad if they used clips or something more durable.
One of the elastic bands used to hold the Nexus 10 in the case lies directly across the on/off switch with enough force to activate the switch. This shuts down the tablet, then repeatedly tries to start it up again, but each time it shuts down again before it can be restarted. An interesting effect, but makes the tablet useless. Don't buy this for the Nexus 10, even though the packaging (and this site) claim it's for the Nexus 10!!
We are sorry to hear that the case is not fitting your device properly! We have fit checked this case with this device and have found that the elastic strap should pass in between the power button and the volume control button and that it should not be putting pressure on either. This is a Universal, one size fits most 10" tablets, but we have only fit checked with the listed devices. Please contact us directly if your case does not seem to properly fit your device.
Thought the cover worked as described, but I did not like the feel of the texture and ended up returning it for additional for an additional Stealth 360 Microfiber Leather.
Awesome, sturdy case with great mobility!
Brilliant case for my Samsung Note 10.1. More colours would be awesome. Fits well and protects my Note. I purchased a similar case for my Kindle DX around 5 years ago and it's still going strong!! The only issue I have is the cost of the Shipping. The shipping cost more than the case to Australia!!
Bought this for my Kindle Fire HD 8.9. After securing it with the silicone straps, there is 1/2 an inch of space all the way around it...PERFECT...if I drop it, the impact is on the stand that you strap it to.The multi-positional stand angles help you achieve the perfect angle whether you are sitting up straight or loungin' on the sofa! The stylus "holster" is right where it needs to be: in the spine/binding right below my kindle. Also, found the perfect smaller size messenger bag at http://renewproject.org/collections/rustic. The best part about the bag is that it's made in my hometown (right outside of Chicago) by an organization that helps refuge women by providing them a job and life-skills that will help them and others persevere regardless the difficulties one might face! Thanks medge...my case rocks!!!
Finally found a cover that will hold my 10" Velocity Cruz tablet!!! And it is awesome!!! Love it.
I did write a review for this already but it wasn't posted?? I purchased a case similar to this for my Kindle 5 years ago and loved it. This one is just as good. The only complaints I have are the lack of available colours and the shipping to Australia was expensive. I get items shipped from the USA all the time and the shipping never costs that much!! It cost more than the cover :(
The case does not have anything to hold it open when you just want to use it on your lap, so it constantly shifts around. I'm returning it and ordered a silicone and hard shell combination elsewhere since you only offer your version for Apple products.
One of the elastic bands used to hold the Nexus 10 in the case lies right across the on/off switch with enough force to activate the switch. This makes for some interesting effects -- power on, power off, shutdown, all repeating -- but does interfere with any actual use of the tablet. Don't buy this for a Nexus 10!!
One of the elastic bands used to hold the Nexus 10 in the case lies directly on the on/off switch with enough force to activate the switch. This produces some interesting effects -- power on/power off/shutdown, all repeating -- but renders the tablet unusable. Don't purchase for the Nexus 10!!
As another reviewer pointed out, the rubber corner strap frequently slips over the power button leading to some very undesirable consequences. Yes, it is possible to set all 4 corner straps "just right" but they do not ever hold their position when the tablet is in use, e.g., while rotating the screen (to say nothing of what happens during transport). What a shame because otherwise the case seems very well made - certainly the best of what the store had to offer.
I have had the same experience as Richard C. reported above. The rubber corner straps may fit just right "in the lab" - but do not stay put when the the cover is moved, or even rotated. This results in a strap pressing on the power button continuously with very undesirable results. It is clear that this is a fundamental design oversight and that potential buyers should be cautioned against buying this model with a visible warning on the package. The problem is apparent from day one and not a result of material fatigue or other wear. Otherwise, the product seems decently made, if not a little pricey for it is (not that the compettition was appreciably cheaper). If I were not several thousand miles from the point of purchase, I would have returned it. In M-Edge's response to Richard C.'s post they suggested that he contact customer service. I suggest a more customer confidence winning move would be for customer service to contact him ... and me!
I have a Viewsonic Viewpad 10pi and since it is discontinued, I haven't been able to find a case for it until I found the Medge Universal Case for 10" tablets. Thank you Medge!
good case. but covers up power button and headphone jack which is really annoying!
I was given this item last Christmas as a case for my Galaxy Tab 2. I have very much enjoyed the case, felt it was perfect for my tablet, and thought it was very well made. But after 11 months of much use but no abuse, one of the corner bands broke. This yielded the case useless for anything but carrying the tablet around. I am very disappointed that such cheap rubber was used for these corner bands that hold the tablet in the case, when good quality materials were used for the rest of it. I don't see any way to repair the rubber band.
